NEW TO VPN TOOLS
Start with the easiest service
Many services provide their own app: download it, create an account, sign in and press connect. This is the simplest route and may be all you need.
- Try the provider’s official app first.
- Learn what Smart and Global routing change.
- Move to ViperNet when you want more control or one setup across devices.
NEW TO CLASH OR MIHOMO
Think of ViperNet as the friendly front room
Mihomo is the networking engine. A subscription supplies servers and often routing rules. ViperNet presents the controls you use every day while keeping advanced tools available.
- Ask your provider for a Clash or Mihomo subscription URL.
- Add it to ViperNet and wait for the proxy list.
- Choose Smart routing, select a proxy and connect.
NEW TO SUBSCRIPTIONS
A subscription link is a private credential
It is normally a long HTTPS address supplied after you sign in to a compatible provider. Paste it into the subscription field; do not post it publicly or include it in screenshots.
Membership can store several named links once and synchronize them to linked devices.
NEW TO ROUTING RULES
Use one policy across all subscriptions
Provider rules are the simplest choice. Advanced users can select the maintained Loyalsoldier whitelist or blacklist preset in the membership configuration page. ViperNet uses the project’s individual rule-provider files rather than treating its GitHub home page as a rule file.
Read the Loyalsoldier rule documentation ↗
NEW TO AI AND HOSTING
Create your own configuration page without becoming a web developer
You can ask an AI coding tool to create a small HTTPS page and a ViperNet configuration feed. Keep real subscription URLs in protected server storage, require browser sign-in, and return only the ViperNet manifest to approved devices.
- Start with a private hosting account that supports HTTPS and environment variables.
- Ask the AI tool to implement the ViperNet configuration-source contract.
- Store secrets in the host’s protected environment settings, never in public source code.
- Test with placeholder URLs first, then add your real subscription privately.
If you do not want to host anything, use ViperNet membership.
SERVICES KL HAS PERSONALLY USED
Different services suit different levels of control
QuickQ ↗ is the straightforward backup option KL has used: install its app, sign in and connect. Bitz Net ↗ has also offered its own apps and third-party-client compatibility. KL ultimately preferred a subscription that worked with Clash Verge because it allowed more capable routing and access when simpler apps did not.
These are personal experience notes, not guarantees. Availability, pricing and compatibility can change; verify the current provider page before paying.
